Snoot

Is it a dog? A cat? A Lizard? A yet to be named creature from beyond?

It’s all of the above and then some.

A Boopos Snoot is a generic animal form that gives you a blank canvas onto which you can build a professional rod puppet. The working puppet foundation is already there.

You get to decide who it becomes.

WHAT COMES WITH A SNOOT?

WHAT ISN’T INCLUDED?

Assembled head with working jaw, mechanism, puppet body, arm rods with controls

Fur, fleece, eyes, hair, clothing, foam, glue, tools and other customization materials shown in finished examples aren't included unless specifically stated.

HOW BOOPOS BLANK PUPPETS WORK

01. PICK YOUR BOOPO

Start with the blank shape that sparks an idea.

02. MAKE IT YOURS

Add fur, fleece, foam, eyes, fabric, hair, clothing—or whatever your character needs.

03. BRING IT TO LIFE

Give it a name. Give it a voice. Give it a life all its own.

WHY START WITH A BOOPOS BLANK?

By the time you start, you're halfway done.

Before creating a character, a puppet maker has to figure out the mechanics of the puppet that want to build.

How does it need to move?

How do its pieces fit together?

How does its mouth mechanism work?

These are all questions that have to be answered before getting anywhere near character design.

The answer to those questions is a Boopos Blank puppet.

You begin with a professionally designed puppet foundation so you can spend more of your time on the part you actually came for:

creating your character.
