Grab a beer. Build a puppet. Meet your new character.
Boopos Blanks is bringing puppet making to Pontoon Brewing in Sandy Springs for an evening of creativity, character building, and wonderfully unusual fun.
Date: Friday, February 27
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Pontoon Brewing, 8601 Dunwoody Place, Building 500, Suite 500, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
Workshop Fee: $180 per participant / puppet
Join Sam Carter, professional puppet builder and creator of Boopos Blanks, for a hands-on workshop where you'll transform a Boopos Blank into a fully articulated puppet character of your own.
You'll choose your puppet's head shape before the workshop, then Sam will guide you through the building process and show you how the components come together to create a character ready to move, gesture, pose, perform—and develop a personality all its own.
No previous puppet-making experience is necessary. Whether you're into puppetry, character design, fabrication, performance, or you're simply looking for a creative night out in Sandy Springs, come ready to make something wonderfully unusual.
What's Included
Your $180 registration includes one Boopos Blank puppet, all necessary building materials and components, and hands-on instruction from Sam Carter.
