WHAT HAPPENS AT A BOOPOS WORKSHOP?
Every Boopos workshop begins with a professionally designed Boopos Blank and one very important question: Who is this thing going to become?
With guidance from puppet builder and Boopos creator Sam Carter, participants transform their blank into an original puppet character using creative materials, techniques and a healthy disregard for making something normal.
No puppet-building experience is required. The working puppet foundation gives participants a head start so they can spend more of the workshop designing, building and discovering their character.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR BUILDS PUPPETS FOR A LIVING.
Boopos workshops are led by Sam Carter, professional puppet builder, fabricator, creator of Boopos Blanks and founder of Muelworx.
Sam brings decades of professional fabrication and creative experience into the workshop—but you don't need decades of experience to sit at his table.
Boopos were created to make puppet building more approachable by giving makers a professionally designed starting point and letting them focus on creating the character.
